A Hard Nut To Crack (Visual Novel for Linux/Mac/Windows)

Kaiser is excited that his friend Princess (from games such as Quest For A Cuddle and Risk It For A Biscuit) is coming over to play. His owner (Maminka) wants to go off and play video games with Princess's owner (Mama), so she gives the two pets a walnut each. Will they be able to figure out how to crack open the walnut shells to get at the food inside?

The game is inspired by both 'Tom & Jerry' shorts and 'The Borrowers' novel (and the movie, starting Steven Fry). Other than female nipples (#freethenipple), there is nothing that could be construed as "lewd" or "not-safe-for-work" in this game. It's a, how you say, "wholesome" (honestly, that sounds like buzzword) game.

Every image used within the game is Quad High Definition (QHD), or in other words, 2560 x 1440 pixels large, hence the nearly 1GB file size. There are over 130 images in this project and multiple options screens to affect the story as it goes along.
